Financial Assistance

Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council provides financial assistance through a scholarship program.

2024 Directions

Camper(s) must first register for their summer camp of choice and pay a minimum $10 deposit. The $10 deposit is required to place the camper spot on hold. The deposit will be applied to any remaining summer camp registration fees. Camper(s) are NOT registered for summer camp by completing the financial assistance application.

We award financial assistance in increments of 25%, 50%, and 75% of the summer camp registration fee, for one summer camp session per year, per camper.

If approved, the council staff will go into CampBrain and apply the financial assistant discount to their account, notify the recipients of their approval and the requirement for them to login and pay their remaining balance by the summer camp registration close date.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the remaining camp registration fees are PAID IN FULL by the camp registration close date. Campers with an unpaid balance for registration fees will be notified a week prior to the registration close date to pay their remaining balance. At the time of registration close, camper spots with an unpaid registration balance will be forfeited and released to the waitlist. (Refunds will be given, if this occurs.)

See application form below for complete details to share with parent/guardians.
